This summer I was overwhelmed with the budget changes that were occurring in our house. Gas was over $4 a gallon, grocery prices were going up, and we had a new mouth to feed ( and bottom to diaper!). After seeing on the news story after story of ladies who were couponing and getting a cart worth of groceries for a ridiculously low amount of money, I decided to take the time to teach myself their tricks.
The time I have spent learning this way of shopping has paid off! If you are looking for ways to save money on the things you already buy, the foods you already eat, and health and beauty products you use, then this might interest you. I have been teaching my techniques and steps to the staff in the different schools in my school district, and people have asked if I would do a class on the weekend.
My next class will be Saturday, January 24 at 2:30 PM in the Milford, OH Panera Bread located on Route 28. I have reserved the Community Room for this event. I will be providing an extensive packet of information, step by step instructions to follow (with blog follow-up support for all class participants) , light snacks (from Panera, of course!), and health and beauty products as "door prizes."
And, as of today, I've added another class to our schedule. The class is Sunday, February 1st at 10am--- yes, Superbowl Sunday! The class is early enough to get to your party on time. The class cost is $15 and will of course include all of the great highlights from my Jan. 24th class. If you are interested in signing up for this class, please contact us at twocheapchicks@hotmail.com and we will sign you up. Feel free to forward this blog to anyone you think might benefit from this class, and I encourage you to bring someone. I will need you to RSVP, as I am limited to the number of people that Panera allows in this room. We learned at the Jan. 24 class that more is not always merrier, and will be limiting the number of people we register for future classes in that room!
I am excited about helping more people save money and help their budgets!
